Boost your mood, clear your mind, and make a local difference this World Mental Health Day! Saturday 10th October 2026 at 9:30am, Wandle Park Café, Croydon. Join us for a fun, charity 10k cycle along the beautiful, winding Wandle Trail.
Starting and finishing in Wandle Park, Croydon, this flat and mostly off-road route takes you through picturesque paved parks and paths to Colliers Wood, before looping back. Because the path is traffic-free and flat, it is the ideal route for beginners, returners, and children alike.
All funds raised from this ride will go directly to Croydon’s own Music Relief Foundation (MRF), a fantastic grassroots charity that empowers young people and adults by using the therapeutic power of music to build resilience, confidence, and better mental wellbeing.
Why join us?
Cycling and fundraising are a scientifically proven power-couple for your mental well-being. By signing up, you are treating your mind to:
- A Natural Mood Boost: Cycling releases endorphins and dopamine—your brain’s natural “feel-good” chemicals—which directly lower stress and anxiety.
- A Clear Mind: Cruising along the peaceful, green paths of the Wandle Trail acts as a perfect mental reset button, helping you unplug from daily worries.
- Connection & Community: Loneliness fades when we ride together. You will be surrounded by supportive, like-minded people sharing the same path.
- A Powerful Sense of Purpose: Fundraising shifts our focus outward. Helping a cause activates reward centres in the brain, delivering a powerful sense of pride and achievement.
Let’s Ride!
£10 per place and fundraise for Music Releif Foundation or £15 per place no fundraising pressure, but £5 goes directly to the charity.
